I never see anything coming out of them...As soon as I read you say " red things " my initial thoughts was red planaria flatworm or vermitted snail.
Picture little fuzzy to see clearly bit look up them 2 and look up sponges.
But they do look bit spiky/tubey like they have a tube like vermitted snail ,is it curly at base where on torch and do you see mucus webs coming from them?
