I've noticed these things recently. They're all consolidated in one place on the sandbed. Some of them are entirely brown, there are some I couldn't get in the picture with little black bands. They move like some sort of invert, rather than an algae.

Any ideas? I'm thinking they're some sort of worm, but there are so many in one place (and they dont move) that I'm not sure.

Thanks!
