What are Tyree Corals???

I found a toadstool coral that I am interested in. It apparently is a limited edition Tyree coral. What does this mean? Thank you for your responses in advance!

It means it’s a toadstool with maybe nicer colors that a hobbyist/vendor put his name on to sell it for way more than a typical toadstool.

Steve Tyree. It's been around for prob 10 yrs so I wouldn't call it LE. It's definitely a nice piece though!

Oh, so it's like a coral brand. haha! Thanks for the help! It is not too expensive and the color really pops so I will get it!

Ya only 1 was created and it doesnt grow . It's been handed down for hundreds of years so make sure your tank is cycled . For a more serious answer it's just hype to sell it but in some cases it may have a different characteristic than the typical toadstool . I read a post where someone was selling a "rare" ORA birdsnest lol

Steve Tyree was one of the early guys who had success propagating and selling SPS frags. He’s written numerous articles and books and he has a webpage that looks like it hasn’t been updated since I first had internet as a kid in 1994. Link to his site below.
