I'm a noobie it's in a 20 gallon set up

U got a nice clown :) :D i wish my clowns are that big they are still babies

And any good tank mates for this guy? I have an arrow head crab in there also. Tank is 20 gallon

I would be a bit conservative and just go with one more clown, or just one other fish with similar bioload. If you put a firefish in there it may get beat up by the clowns when/if they pair up. A lot of people would do the three though. Your call..

Could I get another species of clown or only ocellaris

I think occies are the least combative of the clowns. In that light, I would say another occy. Best pick one smaller than what you have; that way, if the one you have has already turned female, you'll most likely be getting a male instead of another female. If you end up with two males, that's okay - one will turn female. Two females would fight.

Only the percula and occy would stay small enough for a 20g, IMO.
