I've been keeping acans for a few years and I notice that they often have color shift for the better and worst. Recently I have begun to feed them with the food as a paste vs as a cloud and i am starting to see better colors and polyp extension.

What do you do to keep your acans colored up?

Fauna Marin medium lps pellets, but really I think any food of substance should do imo if your water is fine.

I don’t like feeding them powder, I like to use small pieces of cut up raw shrimp. I think feeding is the key, especially if your keeping them in low light.

I feed 3x a week reef chili and blizzard-o. I mix in very little water (5 mL) so the food is like a paste .

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
