I'm kind of hoping that this thread keeps going. Moderators, feel free to edit.

Thank you Marine Depot and Bulk Reef Supply! Oh, and the UPS man.

6 packages in one day! I did not touch the packages before I took the picture.

Happy with everything I got. But I do have to whine that they took the bag of salt out of the bucket and just put it in a box.

I wish I had gotten the rest of my stuff from BRS to be honest. My fiji pink & special grade aragonite, and return nozzle- all came in today; after ordering it on Monday. Amazon still hasn't sent my salt, which I ordered on the 6th. Amazon is getting my base rock to me tomorrow, but hasn't shipped my regular rock yet, also ordered Monday. Saltwateraquarium.com is getting my aqualifter pump here tomorrow as well, with a Monday purchase. And KB Reefs said they shipped my order yesterday... But the tracking on USPS says that only a label has been printed so far. So, BRS is the winner in my book right now. I'd take the salt in ziplock bags at this point. lol I will say that my sand barely made it here though... The boxes fell apart, and I'm surprised the bags didn't get a tear and spill.

Have you got the rest of your stuff yet?

Yesterday, my salt still hadn't shipped. So I went on the Amazon chat, and the guy was like "You're going to get it on time". It got delivered an hour ago. Like, I literally got it in the last hour- within the window it was promised. They had to overnight it, I imagine... Maybe. Who knows?! I am pretty sure if I hadn't said something, it would have been late. I've read where people say to let it come late and get upgrades or free stuff, but I'm not that kind of person.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch... Yesterday, I received my Aqualifter pump, and 40lbs of base rock; today my regular 40lbs of rock came in with the salt (the salt again, was ordered on the 6th- everything else, on Monday). So the only thing missing from Monday's orders, is the 20lbs of rubble from KB Reefs.

But that's on it's way, and will be here this coming Monday- not bad- but not BRS. I wrote them yesterday and asked why I got an email saying it shipped Tuesday- but it hadn't actually shipped. No response, but it was on the way this morning (Squeeky wheels got the grease in this case it seems). So, yeah... Pretty content with everything. I ordered a thing of Weld-on 4 to make my ATS chamber with the acrylic I have (arrival 20th-23rd). But, I should be able to sideline that project, in order to get my dry rock power-washed tomorrow; puttied in, and installed. After that, mix my water, add it, and start cycling sometime next week. I'll throw some pics up when I get closer to that time. Thanks for asking!!

Side note, the Instant Ocean salt came in the exact box as advertised- so I guess I have that going for me!

My youngest daughter and I are getting the dead rock out of the tub after a one-week regular tap water soak from bleaching two weeks prior. There's all kinds of things we are pulling out of the holes with tweezers. She is an ocean freak so it's kind of like Christmas morning when she was 3or4 years old. LOL.

But the more that I look at this stuff now that it's clean the more I think I got a lot more dead coral than I did Rock

Hmm, sounds like you need to to hit it with a power washer like I'm planning. The holes on my rock are filled with dust, that's been solidified by rain. It's gonna be a long day. All the pieces are fairly large as well, so I'm going to have to break some stuff. Where'd you get your "rock"?

I am not sure i would be pressure washing Live rock.. The stuff is quite brittle.. Maybe put it in a container with a raised grate ,Water pump or power heads to allow the debri to settle..

I've got dry rock, and it sounds like he's got dead rock at this point. You just bring the psi level down.

Lennardi Wrasse and a nice piece of Walt Disney Acropora....

I stopped by elmers and ordered a 50 gallon wide. I'll need some more pumps, and another hydra26. They're exspensive though, I wonder if I can get by with 1.

I ordered an Ice Cap 3k Gyre. Wait... am I supposed to post when I order, or when I get it? Hmmm

Man, that's some deep blue you got going on there... Almost gave me a seizure. What are those? They look like an exotic zoa.
