is the white on the skeleton a bad sign?

The white below the head is not a problem, although it looks like the flesh doesn't extend very far down the stalk.
On the positive side it looks happy, maybe a little bleached but that could be the pic or exposure or whatnot.
If it looks that light in person I think I might move it down a bit, or to a less lit area of your rock work.
