New to rock flower anemones, I don’t remember seeing them when I was in the hobby for 16 years over a decade ago. I fell in love with them for their colors and after reading they were hardy and easy to keep. I currently have six and am always checking at my lfs to see if they got something unique in. So I have one that for the second time went on a walk about and unlike the last time I couldn’t find it. Then yesterday I found it next to my hammer which was touching it and it looked awful. Today it is back to its original spot, just like last time but looks really bad. So what are the chances of a comeback or is it a goner? Anyone experienced a comeback. Included is a before and current picture. Thanks in advance.

I have experienced remarkable comebacks with my rockflowers, but I've also seen them just as easily go in the other direction. At this point you don't necessarily have anything to lose with continued observation (try to ensure it gets some food).

Thanks @blaxsun, that’s encouraging. Sundays are one of my two days I spot feed. It will get some mysis. It always has a great eating response, should I take it as a bad sign if it doesn’t take the mysis?

Mine too, few disappeared for months and then back in the game. They can survive a lot.

Thanks as always @Lavey29. I hope it comes back, it is one of my favorites, and learns its lesson not to wander. Oh jeez, just bought a torch on Friday and blue is a color I have been looking for! I guess I’m going to have to google a good divorce lawyer! My wife will probably get the tank in the settlement and start cultivating blue clove polyps, aptasia, bubble algae etc and send me monthly pictures to crush me.

Haha, maybe we can get a good attorney for a 2 for 1 deal? I'm still thinking about trading mine in for a newer model with less miles that loves reefing.

They are pricy but I have always received very nice quality stuff from that vendor with great packaging and shipping.
I googled saltwateraquarium.com it takes me to the site saltwaterfish.com which sells aquarium products.

Look at what you made me do! My wife kicked me out and now I’m living on the streets pushing my aquarium around in a grocery cart. Not close to the picture but maybe it will color up after it acclimates and gets over shipping stress.

Homeless people get a lot of cool free stuff and money now in our perfect utopia environment in this country. You will be fine. Set up camp at the beach so water changes are easy and free too.

Ya, I thought I could hitchhike across the US to San Francisco. I heard that they have wonderful tent cities downtown and to top it off you can use the sidewalks as toilets, garbage cans and hazardous materials receptacles ( for needles). You always have what you want because you can go into any store with a garbage bag and fill it up with anything you need and as long as you take $999.99 or less you won’t get prosecuted. Heck, the employees are told not to stop you or they will get fired! To bad all the country country can’t live in paradise like that.
