A long time ago, in a far away place, before the internet, as we know it, I was part of a bulletin board that was based in Australia. Everyone had Australian themed user names. My username was SydneyMike. Then, along came AOL, where you had to have a user name, I tried to sign up with "SydneyMike," but it was already taken, so I changed the spelling to SidMike. Everyone called me Sid. Then when people started asking me who Sid was, I explained that Sid was my imaginary friend, creating a second user name, "SidandI." Then, I left AOL for awhile. When I returned, to AOL, neither SidandI nor SidMike could be used again, because I had used them both as AIM names so they were still technically "in use" on AOL, though I couldn't remember my passwords. I became Returnofsid. The name stuck. A lot of my friends still call me Sid...lol, even though my name is Michael.
