Have you walked into the room, looked at your tank and asked: "How did that even happen?" I don't mean the tank itself, but something's gone off the rails in the tank (hopefully not disastrous.) This morning I found this Innovative Marine random flow nozzle on the sand. How does even happen? Did all the fish come together and pull it off? What are your favorite "How does that even happen?" stories?

Idk how your tank returns are fitted but my IM aio returns are a really loose press fit. One of few gripes lol

Wrap the portion inserted either a few layers of plumber’s tape and that should help the nozzle fit in more snug.

Those nozzles definitely fit loose! Anytime I try to adjust them, i almost accidentally pull them off too.

Anyway, in my case, two days ago, I walked into my room and found my most expensive coral (sun god torch) lying face down on the sand bed. It somehow fell out of its frag rock holder.

Out of ALL the torches in my tank, all secured in the same way, THIS one had to fall out. How? WHY?! Anyway, it looks like it's recovered, but man, that really annoyed me lol.

Thanks! thats a good idea. I might do that. Im only using one return on the left side but its a heavy dual return locline that extends out about 5". The right side is plumbed with a very small filtered pump that goes into RUGF tubing under the sand. I had to heat up the RUGF ABS tube to fit onto the pass through fitting so it fits nice and tight.
