Here is the thing, and I am going to state this from my perspective. I am not mansplaining (joke). If this question came up a couple years ago it probably wouldn't have so much stigma attached to it. The problem we as a country (I know not everyone is in the USA on here) are bashed over the heads daily on these types of issues. We are getting overly stimulated with the constant barrage of poor media. Your white privileged is showing, your a man you dont understand, you were raised in a rich community as a black kid you don't get me, etc. Its everywhere, twitter, facebook, instagram, forums, the news, and even our offices. I sit on a board for a Veteran/LEO Mental Health and Suicide non profit and have for almost 3 years. I have had thin blue line flag mouse pad at my paying job since I started. I was recently told I can not have it due to the events that were unfolding. Did I change? No! The culture shifted and some peoples perspective changed. My CEO and HR team stepped in and overrode the decision real quick and said we hired him BECAUSE of what he does in the LEO and Veteran non profit space. He is a leader in the community and here. People need to stop taking everything so dang personal all the time! If you need a space to get together with like minded under water basket weaving bearded men do it! Nothing is stopping you, but don't get so hung up on it being ONLY bearded men.... sometimes we overly exclude everyone and that's why we have so many issues with this simple post today.
Also - I am assuming most if not all of us are trying to get away from the constant chaos and drown ourselves in our tanks and this forum due to the recent issues. Pun Intended
