What is a good algae’s scrapper

Ovee priced IMO but I have 3 tunze scrapers. For a budget it's hard to beat a long handled razor scraper like sold on Amazon. The scrapers with the large cleaning pad on the inside always seem to pick up something that scratches the glass.

Old credit/gift card for the ultimate low cost scraper. Even cheaper, use your fingernails.

Tunze scraper is what I use!

I use the hygger 5 in one tool , I’ve found I can scrape as hard as I like without scratching glass. Other scraper can scratch glass if your not careful

It’s 80 gallons I think the most I’d sped on crapper 45 to 50 dollars
This reminds me of the LAX airport back in the 1970's when they started charging a quarter ($0.25 coin) for the stalls in the mens room. I thought it was pretty cruel to charge travelers getting off a plane to access the stalls.

I use Scraperite https://scraperite.com/ plastic scrapers for acrylic tanks but the recent order that arrived a month after I places an order failed to send the 4" replacement blades but included a 1" scraper handle that I don't need. I ordered specifically to get 2 new 4" handles and replacement blades, so I am not sure if I recommend them based upon recent online purchases. I still need to call them but I am waiting until I can have a decent conversation and not unleash a bunch of swears for their warehouse crew and packing crew.

I have a Tunze Strong and an "old" model Flipper. Got the "new" 2 blade Flipper and it is the absolute best I have ever seen or used; blows the Tunze away.

So I’ve realized I’m might have to crape my glass what’s a good budget algae scraper
Everyone is going to have a favorite brand and type and it matters with your glass thickness and type of algae such as film algae, hair, etc
I have Large tanks and my favorite is Mighty Magnet and also my Flipper large magnet. Many dont like the flipper yet has been flawless for me. Another is Tunze strong in the past

I have a Tunze and it is good for thin film algae. More stubborn algae requires me to get a razor blade out.

I have a Flipper on another tank and it is much better on the stubborn algae (some still needs a razor occasionally).

Like them both, but I think I lean toward the Flipper.

Flipper Float is one of the best I've used so far, and like others have said, a good ol retractable (or add on ) blade scraper from Amazon...they are so cheap, comes with replacement blades and you can make it anywhere from 1ft to 2 ft long ...its great for tough algae and especially getting down into the sand bed, and you never have to put hands in tank.
