Hey Reefers! I had a thought on the idea of "nano" tanks. Why are tanks around 30 gallons and under considered "nano" sized? Given the natural adult size of many marine fish and invertebrates, why not call tanks under 100 gallons or so a "nano" tank? Just a fun thought.

I think 30g has just become an accepted max size for a nano tank by hobbyist. Nano means minute / very small. There is nothing very small about 100g tanks unless your comparing it to a very large tank. There are as many if not more small fish and inverts as large I would think. JMO
