What is happening to my starfish?

For the past couple of weeks my starfish has been losing its tips and they are red. Posting picture. Has anyone seen this before? I do not kno w what is wrong with it.

Starfish are quite sensitive to water quality and lack of food and may quickly lose limbs to those things. Yours is losing just the tips.

If your water is stable, and have had it for awhile and this is a recent issue. It could be an infection, playing too close to a powerhead, or an invert had a snack.
