Just got this gorgeous purple LTA from my lfs. At the store, it had its foot wedged in a rock and the owner literally had to chisel the rock apart to get it loose. So after acclimating it, I set it down near this rock crevice, close to where my clownfish like to hang out.
The left pic is when I first placed him in an hour ago, and the right pic is what it's doing now... does it look like it is trying to back up and settle in the rock or what? Should I gently help it a little? I have the powerheads off to let it get situated.
Any help and advice on lta's is much appreciated!

Just moved a lta the other day , what I did is nothing lol , the best way was to turn off all flow overnight and let it do it’s thing , (left return pump on so could still have heater )

That's what I figured - I turned off everything but the return pump as well, for the same reason. After my last anemone experience with a BTA, I figure there's about a .0001% chance it settles where I want it to, lol. Should I not feed it for a few days to let it settle in?

It's going to move wherever it wants to. Just give it some time to settle and find a place that makes it happy.
Omg look where it ended up! Exactly where I wanted it - I think I may need to go buy a lottery ticket, lol. Fingers crossed it's happy there and doesn't relocate. :)
