Beaugregoy damsel! Beautiful when small but relentless on its attacks of everything in the tank that moves regardless of size. I ended up having to drain the tank to a few inches and remove almost all the rock to catch it! I would never get another damsel!!

My purple fire fish. It is the prettiest fish you'll never see. It comes out to grab food once a day for maybe 2 minutes.

Same for me, I learned to really dislike fish who spend a lot of time hiding with my first tank. Scissortail Dartfish wasn't much better, so I have sworn off Dartfish.

I have a list:

Dartfish-Too timid, easily bullied
Yellow Tang-Complete Butthead
Green Mandarinfish-Virtually impossible to keep up with dietary needs
Red Head Salon Fairy Wrasse-Super Aggressive
Snowflake Occ Clownfish-tried to bully every fish in the tank and likely contributed to the death of my aforementioned dartfish
Flame Angel-Aggressive jerk and coral nipper

I would love to know the specific types of damsel mentioned here rather than just "damsel", as I'm told the Chrysiptera species is much more peaceful..

I don't have any fish I regret yet thankfully, however, I'm about to receive a Starckii Damsel and I hope that's not going to become on either :)

Signal /twin spot goby. Tried twice. Never ever again. Can’t stand watching a fish die in my care (also sea horses and a Boston bean) .
I say sea horses but if I were retired I would consider it.
