I noticed a few hydroids on a new Zoa I got in my quarantine tank. I used hydrogen peroxide for five minutes and it seemed to kill them but I noticed a new one today that seems to be unaffected. Should I try hydrogen peroxide again or do a Fenbendazole dip if so whats the recommended dosage for dipping applications?

Update Hydrogen peroxide had absolutely no effect after three max dosages 10-minute dips. The hydroids initially seemed to die, but now a few days after the treatment, they are back with a vengeance. Going to try Fenbendazole

I've tried everything, the only thing that kills them is bleach but obviously this isn't an option.

I'm currently cleaning the rocks daily and relying on clean up crew to keep on top of them. One thing that will clean up your zoas is a conch.

I bought 2 of these and put one in a container with a zoa frag and 20 mins later it was clear. 1 week later though and Hydroids are back on it.

Only way to beat these in my experience is not broadcast feeding, manual removal and clean up crew (which so far only the conch will eat it)

Also dont use reefroids or anything similar, Hydroids love it!
