What is the best video camera for video of my tank?

Hi,

I've been trying to use my canon DSLR to take vids of my tank but the color always gets drown in blue. Anyone have any ideas on the best vid cam? Makes and models with sample vids would be great thanks!!

I have a canon slr too. You have to adjust your white balance to get the color right otherwise it will always show too much blue, especially with leds.

Sony handy cams are some if not the best cams for recording reef aquariums.they realy are amazing and from what iv heard all the handy cam models work great.take pretty nice pictures to

White balance answeres are spot on, you can set them manually it is a pita the first time or two. I've been using a gopro hero and it does a pretty god job filming underwater. I don't have a fast enough connection To upload vids.
