Mine have been gorging on the DIY food I make because I add the dehydrated rotifers to it.

I'm wondering if you rehydrate your food sometime before you feed your fish dehydrated rotifers?

Just thinking that dehydrated food in the fish gut might not be great for the fishes health?

Sorry for the hi jack. The toughest fish I have had was served to me at a restaurant labeled as salmon. I think the chef might have taken it fresh out of a bears mouth and fried it extra long to rid it of potential saliva worms? Completely unedible and tough, it was like chewing wood. I sent it back to the kitchen and the brought it back without the cedar plank.

Neon tetras die if you sneeze in their direction, and these guys just keep on keeping on.

For freshwater: ember tetras! You’d never know with how neon tetras have such a frail reputation. Embers are even a little smaller at around 1 cm or so fully grown but my wife had a runty young one get sucked through a filter twice who then went on to be the biggest, strongest member of that little school. I have mad respect for the ember tetra ever since
