I have t5 and led fixture tooI believe its more that blue/violet light has a lower "par" value that will achieve photosaturation compared to the same intensity at a more spread out value

Is it true that blue light will measure less on a par meter? Some of these came from a tank which much more par.
I’ll probably let things sit w/o the clown goby. Wait for icp test to come back, and do a water change while feeding during the day to see if they change
Clown goby? You’ll never see any polyp extension with that little acro munching monster! Is it true that blue light will measure less on a par meter? Some of these came from a tank which much more par.

He’s out. I just can’t believe he would affect 15 acrosClown goby? You’ll never see any polyp extension with that little acro munching monster!
He absolutely will. I stupidly put a clown goby in my 135 years ago and had to fish him out a few days later. It took several weeks for the acros to start showing normal polyp extension. He’s out. I just can’t believe he would affect 15 acros
I’m in the waiting game then. Like everything in the hobbyHe absolutely will. I stupidly put a clown goby in my 135 years ago and had to fish him out a few days later. It took several weeks for the acros to start showing normal polyp extension.
It’s funny, at night I can see a few acros polyps out. Still none during the day. The one millipora I have is the true sign of my success…still nothing from that oneHe absolutely will. Thanks. I’m either dealing with stability issues or accumulation since these corals are new. I doubt it’s too much light as they came from a tank getting 400-600 par and currently in my tank they are around 200-250It's a combination of things that affect PE during the day. I wrote an article on this subject:
How To Improve Polyp Extensions (PE) In Acropora Corals?
Polyp extension (PE) in Acropora corals (acros) is often affected by pests, fish nipping, the stability of water parameters, and adequate flow and lighting. In addition, adding nutrients and the right food can elicit a feeding response that is manifested in PE. However, for consistent PE, the...www.piecesoftheocean.com
