what is this a refugium?

It looks like it to me, does the water get pumped to the display and vice versa?

thers a tee.. going from sump to main, so of the water goes into refugium also.. the return to sump is all downforce... its working pretty well

I don't see anything wrong with it, but esthetically like to put the refugium somewhere hidden.

It looks like a nice refugium to me. If it were mine though I would try and hide it though.

it looks ok.....but there are way better DIYs that will perform multiple functions.
