It only effects/irritates one Duncan head. I clipped it off a few weeks ago, but it grew back. Thanks all

Can't really see in picture as goes blurry when try zoom in on it.
Sort off looks like the feather part off a feather duster.
Has it got a white tube and a flowery/feathery thing pops out and if put hand over or near it,it retracts?

But better pics would help to id it.
If not already try cleaning glass on tank and put your phone on glass to take picture ( guessing you using phone) and when it in focus take picture zoomed in so can see clearly
And a description of what looks like/ feels like/ behaves like would aid us also.
Good luck on id

A few things that are common on skeletons off corals are..
Vermitted snails.
Sponges.
Feather dusters
Aiptasia
Algae

Also be careful it's not just the mesenterial filaments from the coral itself.
With replying again,it will bump your question to the top and hopefully someone else can make out from your picture what it is

I have a few feather dusters growing in the tank. This is completely different. Will try a better picture.

I do have new heads growing on this Duncan colony. However, this thing is completely different. I think I will just keep clipping it and starve the root. Thanks all
