Hi, had my tank set up a year let it go down hill, got running ok again so started buying some LPS, bought one but don't know the name can anyone help. I know you shouldn't buy a coral without knowing what it is but sometimes it can not be helped.

Welcome to R2R. Not sure what you have there, but I like it. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Welcome to R2R!! Maybe a bowerbanki?? Defiantly someone will give you a solid answer.

Welcome aboard Jordan!

It's a little difficult to say with complete certainty from the photo supplied, but I'd say you have two polyps of caulustra... neon candy canes

I’ve attached a photo of a small colony in my tank (sorry bout the dirty glass)

Hi, I don't think it is a candy cane, it is not growing from branches. I have always been put off by candy canes, everyone I have seen have come out very well, just like a stick with a peice of green. how do you get them to come out so much looks really good. makes me tempted to get one

Looking at the photos you posted today... definitely not candy canes. Sorry for the missed ID
