What is this devils hand doing?

Hello everyone. We bought a two leathers yesterday, one green toadstool and a devils hand.
The toadstool is fine but I’m not to sure about the other one.

Is that normal that he’s hanging down now?
When we bought him he was all fingers up. Is that because of acclimation, or are there just doing this in general?

When introduced, they will do this. If you haven't done so, direct some water flow towards, not at them. The lighting looks ample.
