What is this growing on my snails shell?

What is it? It is a bright orange color that is especially beautiful and vibrant under blue light. It looks like sponge to me but im not too sure.

need a better pic, but lots of things can grow on snail shells, including other snails.

Coralline or a sponge would be my guess too.

Also, just in case you don't know, that snail is a predatory species.

Yes i am aware. Kelletia kelletii usually goes for already dead or dying animals. This one churns my sand bed really well and is greatly helpful with my small snail problem. Theyre more scavengers unless the fish is already dying. Ive never seen them use the proboscis before which i kind if wanna see ngl
