What is this, ID please

I have several of these "things" in my tank and they are releasing stringy nastiness all over my corals. What are they and how do I get get rid of them, or prevent getting them? Thank you for the help!!

+1 but i dont like them, they will choke out certain corals and irritate the rest with there web feeding. I take Kalk paste and fill in the top where their opening is. I've lost Dendros due to their shell over taking the Dendros.
