What is this? Long tentacles.

Can anyone tell me what this is. I dipped this frag in furan2, Chemiclean, idione, and coralrx but still seeing this at night and during the day. Long reddish tentacles much smaller than a bristle worm.

Looks like a spaghetti worm is nestled in there. If so, no problem. Good CUC.

Not sure, I've never seen a bristle star like this. The tentacles are thinner than a strand of hair and don't have the bristles. Not sure if it's one organism or several. How the hell it survived all those dips is beyond me.

That's not a brittle star. I'd bet coral on spaghetti worm (or hair worm, sometimes I confuse the two). It may have already been in your tank and moved over. Best worms to have in my opinion.

It might cause polyps to close temporarily due to annoyance, but it will move on in search of more food... Totally harmless

Spaghetti worms! Harmless, but unsightly. They mostly come out at night.
