Picked up this frag because it seemed to be pretty good size and I liked the red color. What is it? Kind of blasto like but I'm pretty sure its not.

Acan (acanthurus) coral
Moderate light and water flow and feed 2-3x per week

Agreed on acan lord :) care is simple and already explained. Beautiful piece and have fun with it! Watch out for fish that may nip “fleshy LPS” because this is in that category!

Thanks guys, Googled it and that is exactly what it is. I typically squirter my corals with a reefroid amino paste. Do you think thats best or should I use something a little larger? I read about feeding them "meaty" food.

Also says they are super easy and grow fast, thats a plus.

I prefer to feed each head a single or half mysis shrimp. It’s up to you though!
