What is this on my blue spotted puffer

Probably just a rub mark, but could be an infected (both of those can be circular). We need background information - how long has it been like this, any other symptoms, is the spot growing larger, etc. This post explains some of that:

Showed up today. No symptoms, fish eating no rubbing nothing. just that dot nothing else of importance. Water parameters are perfect 100%.

Probably just a minor injury - could also be a coral sting if you have any LPS in the tank.
