what is this on my convict tang

He was my last addition over 3 months ago and has always been active and eating heavily. First noticed him flash about a week ago and he only did it once. He only has the spots on his forehead everywhere else is clear and all other fish are unaffected. He went from clear to these markings in less than an hour. How do I proceed

Can you get a clearer shot taken under white lights?

Based on the sudden appearance of these spots, I'd have to say they are scrapes from running into something, as a disease isn't just going to appear in less than an hour like that.

I think so too. I just noticed my little sailfin just started being a jerk to him and most likely chased him into a rock for the last couple hours but they're back to being buddies
