Hi. Wondering if anyone can help me identify what this is growing on my rock and along the tank floor. I will post some pics.

It’s on my 10 gallon ‘quarantine’ tank. Actually I had to remove a cleaner shrimp from my display tank and set up my 10 gallon. I decided to cycle before putting the shrimp. I also some time later added a couple of chromis and a Molly Miller blenny.

Just noticed some white hairy filament on one side of the rock with some ‘bristles’ on the tank floor.

Can anyone help identify?

Thanks in advance.

filaments and tube worms. You can place coral in a small container of tank water and scrub off with a firm toothbrush or scrape off gently with the edge of a paring knife

Thank you for your quick response.
Are the filaments harmful?
