I noticed this leather spreading I never bought it and it’s really aggressive/spreading anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it.

Aiptasia. Pest anemone. There’s a few different commercially available products. Kalwasser or lemon juice directly into its mouth with a syringe will also work.

There is anecdotal evidence that some fish and shrimp will eat it but then they can possibly eat or damage your corals also. Lots of different products you can purchase like F-aiptasia, aiptasiaX and such. Home remedies like kalk paste, lemon juice, hot water, superglue gel. I have not found any one perfect remedy myself. If you can remove infected plug/rock/coral and "surgically" remove the aiptasia that is the best answer but you need to make sure you got it and that is a pain along with removing the item in question.
