What in the world is this algae and is it bad? If it is... How do I get rid of it??

If it blows off its cyano algae you can add more flow in that spot and it'll go away

Looks like cyanobacteria. If you google it you should be able to find treatment info.

Yes i agree, i had cyano- bacteria also and bought another power head amd poof its gone.. :)

Cyano bacteria, don't know why I put algae
