What is this?

So this was listed as a Chalice - but a good "reef" friend was over that I consider very knowledgeable and he said he did not think it was a Chalice.

It does not have "defined eyes" like some of my other Chalices.


Anyone?

Not sure it is a chalice. It is small and many different species can look like chalice. Maybe lobo But it does seem to have mouths several of them. On the lower part of picture the purple flesh is like an other ring coralite. Directly above it is pink flesh with a small mouth. Looks like a lobo to me.

It does not puff up like a lobo tho. I have a few of them

I dont think it is a Symphyllia, maybe a Echinophyllia sp. ?
