This is over 48-60 hours. Its on top of my powerhead, and it is hard in nature. Not sure if its a worm, sponge, or eggs from one of the critters. Any idea if I should keep it or scrape it off...

Looks bubble algae compare pictures on google if looks like yours. I maybe completely wrong...
 
A type of phaeophytic macroalgae, either Leathesia or Colpomenia. It's not super prolific but can be rather unsightly. Otherwise it's just an ornamental macroalgae

It was weird as it grew so fast. I'm away from the tank for another 24 hour stint so will have remove it tomorrow AM
