My female Clown has been sitting near the bottom of the tank, and will tilt on her side. She then will swim like normal for a minute but then is again lying down and gills are moving fast. This started around 9pm last night. I moved her into a breeder box so I could monitor closely. It is now 8am the next morning and she is still alive doing the same thing in the breeder box. I attached a pic but it’s not the best. Thanks for any help.

Hi, welcome to Reef2Reef.

The picture is too blue for us to see anything, plus we need a history of the fish and the tank. This post explains all that:

Please post any pics and videos using bright white light intensity, no blues and assure both the tank glass and camera lens are free off algae and fingerprints please

When did you get? How tested/stable is the water? Any parameter readings? temps? Temps can be a big factor for salinity swings, osmotic shock etc.

from the single picture provided my first guess is ammonia poisoning, ive seen it plenty of times but as indicated, we need more photos, as it could be a few things affecting the energy and breathing of our little fella here , white light , as clear as you can get it from as many clean angles as possible
