What is wrong with my Hammerhead coral

My hammerhead coral is becoming stringy, i think could be because is too close from my mushrooms, is this possible? What can i do to fix it?

Reefing Madness, thank you for the link! I just learned something new - really fascinating!
I saw these tentacles stuck to the mushroom a couple of times and since then, I see more "sweepers"...
I just fed them Dr. G's phytoplankton, hoping is about food and not much about space (wishful thinking). I have a 29 Gal. Tank and not too mush space available. If the hammerhead wins the battle is not so bad. I can't move the mushrooms, they are on a main rock and spreading like crazy. I just hope the hammerhead wins [emoji26]
