What is wrong with my monti

Hello, I bought a red monti recently and this morning the edges of it look weird can you tell me what is going on?

It could be just adjusting to your tank since it’s a new addition and assuming your water parameters, flow and lighting are all in check. Would just make sure everything stays stable and in range and let it adjust.

The edges tend to be a pale color where they are growing
