Hello reefers,

I am contemplating whether I can add another rabbit fish to my 4 foot reef tank (135 gallon display) with below stock already living happily together.

The fish in question is a magnificent fox face, significantly smaller than my one spot fox face who is the king of the tank.

What are your experiences and expectations? Can Manuel and Finn become friends? :) I would introduce him in an acclimation box.

Current stock:

2 x Common Clown Fish - Coral / Marlin
1 x Timor Wrasse - Tony
1 x One-spot Foxface Rabbit Fish - Finn
1 x Pink-spotted Watchman Goby - Candy
1 x Blue sided fairy wrasse - Winston
1 x Coral Beauty - Valentine
1 x Cherub Angle Fish - Clarence
1 x Anthias (unknown) - Merryl
1 x Long Nose Hawk Fish - Percy
1 x Scarlet Flame Hawk Fish - John
1 x Blue Regal Tang - Dory
1 x Yellow Tail Purple Tang - Violet

i cant think

I don’t have a one spot but I do have a magnificent with an Tongan black. And I have a 4’x2’x2’ tank. People say they only mix well in larger tanks (8’+) but IME, this is false. These two have been together a month now. Not once did they willingly attack each other.

Well that's uplifting information! What other tank mates do you have? I have a fair few algae grazers with the tangs and angels as well!

I am not too worried about habitat, I have a fairly intricate scape with wee caves here and there.

Love the black one BTW!

Nope! Complete reef system is my aim :)
So far I have a few large colonies of Hammers, Leathers, Mushrooms and some others.

The angels are gorgeous, the majestic does a drive by with my Sinularia every so often but doesn’t do any true damage yet.

Yep, I love my wrasses. Thats not even my whole collection, I have a nano with 2 other wrasses and am planning on 3 more.

That is interesting! I always thought that the angels were very much not reef safe; may be tempted trying my luck as well

I do have a Coral Beauty and a cherub angle already though.
