My blue plate is unique

I have a similar piece, about a 1/3 of the size of your beauty. It's funny, because when I got the frag, it was one little stick, I had no idea it would turn into this! Did you know what yours was going to look like?

I've had it about 5 years, I knew it was going to plate but it holds color throughout better than any plate I've had before. Pretty sure it's A. solitaryensis

I have two no name efflos, and a 500 dollar efflo, I love plate corals when they get big, such awesome corals. Although they require some planning, miss placed the 500 efflo, and I am starting to have shade out issues of everything below it...

Ahhh yes I wasnt taking shading into consideration. I may have to put that on hold until I get a bigger tank. right now im sporting a 46 gallon. My husband wouldnr let me go any bigger at the time. NOW hes onboard and wants a 90 like I do! :-D

Or you could get lots of plate corals and other fast growing acros, that way your husband is forced to go to a larger tank;)

I like....... All of them but right now I would say RR Aussie gold.

The torts are probably my favorites ( Oregon, ORA Cali, Miyagi ) but I like blue:)
I also really like milles but you have to be a little selective with those because they can get big quick. The Cali tort can also grow pretty darn fast.

Here are some frags I got at MACNA this year.

Currently, my favorite Acro piece is the Fiji Acropora Sarmentosa
