What is your go-to test kit? I have been using all the Hanna eggs for years but I’m curious what you use and how often do you test?

Is there a test you do more than others?

Salifert has never failed me. I test most things every 1-2 weeks. KH maybe every 3-4 days.

I use Hanna for Alkalinity (dKH), Phosphate ULR, Nitrate HR usually once per week although specific tests I may do more or less frequently depending on trends.
*NOTE -- I'm color blind so need a helper to use Salifert Calcium about monthly

I trust the Hanna checkers and feel like they're accurate enough for my needs with only occasional issues with bad reagents that Hanna usually replaces for free when contacted (been a while since I had a problem though).

HannaChecker ULR Phosphorus. I'm running an ultra low nutrient system and there is no other way for me to measure phosphate reliably at the levels I'm working with.

I have other HannaCheckers but I don't consider them essential to what I'm doing. For some checkers the actual measurement process is too tedious for me (I'm lazy), so Salifert will have to do and never failed me when comparing to ICP results.

For pH/redox/salinity/temperature I use the GHL probes for my Profilux. I have an additional Inkbird with two temperature probes just to prevent a worst case scenario if the temperature probe of my GHL fails.
From time to time I use a high precision hydrometer to ensure the salinity probe hasn't drifted off.

I test alk (DIY titration), nitrate (Hanna) and phosphate (Hanna) once every 2-3 weeks.

I test alk more than any since I have 6 systems going.
I have titration seup and just started using it for alk.
I use Hanna eggs for alk, po4, and No3.
Salifert alk as backup.
Salifert for Potassium, Ca, and Mag.
Ca tests are once a month. Mag usually gets tested every 3 or so months. It takes that long for it to fall from 1300 to 1260ish. Then I bump it back to over 1300.

TM and Conductivity meter for SG.

Seneye for ammonia but typically only during cycling

I just set up a GHL Ion Director last night and am hoping that proves to be a valuable piece of test kit

Hanna Master set here. So Hanna AlK, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphate and Nitrate. The Hanna PH is really unreliable but I have a Milwaukee controller for that and a Hanna digital PH to confirm.
