What kind of tang is this

Hello,
I recently met with a guy who was tearing down his tank to buy his coral and I adopted so of his remaining fish as well. He had this tang that he couldn’t remember the name of and I’ve searched and can’t seem to find one that looks just like him. Any ideas what he is?

He is slightly beat up right now (to many fish in the tank) but is eating well and seems to love the extra space.

Looks like A Lemonpeel Mimic Tang or Chocolate Tang, same fish but looks like it's transitioning to Chocolate.

Looks a lot like a Chocolate tang (aka false lemon peel). Hard to say for sure from Pic.

Awesome!! Thanks everyone for the help. Never had one before so this will be fun. Has amazing coloration already, can’t wait to see him after he’s healed up a bit and on good food for awhile.
