Hello everyone, the wrasse that is in the net I just recently purchased. It is in my quarantine tank now. I do not want to put an unknown wrasse in my 360g aquarium. The wrasse that I have in the picture next to the bristle tooth is a leopard wrasse for sure in my display. However, I Purchased it because she said it was a leopard wrasse but now I am questioning it after seeing the one I have. I am trying to only do Reef safe. I’m sure there are other breeds but I can’t find any on google that look like this one , does anyone know what kind of wrasse this is?Thank you everyone!

They are both leopard wrasse. Leopard wrasse are wrasse of the genus Macropharyngodon meaning large throat teeth. The one you bought is Macropharyngodon ornatus and the one you own is Macropharyngodon meleagris. They should get along since they are both female though you may have an issue if they both go male but probably not.

Plus one on the above , I had both wrasses u have and many more in a 400 and normally you shouldn't have issues. Introduction can be tricky though.

Ok . Yea my wife likes the leopard wrasses we have (two now) but they are both white ish so I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t putting anything else in my tank that will take out all my inverts later and it was indeed a leopard wrasse
