Anyone tried the Waterbox brand salts? They are on sale, and at least talk a good game:

I've been using it since I started my tank, mostly because I'm new to saltwater and it's the same brand as my tank lol. I haven't noticed any issues. My coral have all been doing well. I have a Toadstool, some cloves, a Duncan, Hammer, and recently a torch. My alk has been going down lately but I attribute that mostly to a decrease in pH since my windows have been closed with the impeding PNW winter.
