I have a watchman Gobby and was thinking of getting a pistol shrimp but while doing my research it was not compatible with a cleaner shrimp and in my opinion a cleaner shrimp is more enjoyable because you may rarely see the pistol shrimp and gobby once they pair up.
I have a pistol and a cleaner with zero problems.

Dedragon what do you mean for color or intensity? There or only 3 color modes that I know of on the kessil light one is a bright white light the other is a more natural white light and the third is a blue light. Which one where you referring to?

Nano925 I googled what are diatoms and it says diatoms are a harmless algae that only appear when the cycle is complete in an aquarium and can also come in an established reef. That means that my cycle is complete and I can get fish. Right?

no definitely not ready for fish yet again its going to be another couple of weeks before fish. no way around that one as you just risk killing all organisms in the tank if you rush. there is more than just finishing the cycle that goes on in the tank. again please be more patient

Now that you have diatoms you can get a cleanup crew now but I would still suggest waiting longer because like you said even in established tank you get diatoms which are a sign of some thing going on with your levels

Once the nitrate-forming bacteria take hold, nitrite levels fall, nitrate levels rise, and the tank is fully cycled. Your tank is fully cycled once nitrates are being produced (and ammonia and nitrite levels are zero).

Nah, that's the the initial cycle. Your tank will go through many phases or cycles over the next year. Initially it's just the bacteria to handle a small bioload

bacterial populations will both multiply and die until they get to a somewhat stable population in the tank. this takes months especially when adding more volume and also why you cant add all the fish all at once.

did u figure out your lighting because you risk doing more damage to the anemone if it isnt acclimated to light properly using the intensity setting

I didnt realize he was adding more rock, that could increase the time to add fish as well. I suggest getting the rock asap. I would either get dry rock and more bacterial additive asap and wait a 3-4 weeks from adding til you add another fish. Or get live rock from a trusted reefer on the forum, this will help establish a more reliable bacterial population and then probably 2 weeks from adding about 10-15 pounds of live rock. Unless your LFS has an impeccable record for quarantine procedure i would not go with live rock from stores.
