What should I dip my corals with?

I just picked up 6 corals at the mtrc frag swap. One is a rbta and the other are sps. I plan on putting them right into the tank but I was looking to see what I should dip them with. I've heard of one method although I forgot what it is. I think it's some kind of pesticide stuff you get from hd or lowes and mix it with fresh saltwater then rinse the frag off. If any of you know what I'm talking about let me know. If there are any other methods do tell me about them too. Trying to keep my tank pest free!

I don't think I would consider dipping the rbta, lugols solutions works best and does not expire like the CoralRx

I float my bags to get temp acclimated, then squirt about 5ml into the bag and reseal. Give it a couple shakes every minutes for about 5-10 minutes then rinse well with fresh saltwater

How much and how long? Please.

10ml of Bayer in 4 oz. water as a rule of thumb. I just got home myself from a swap and I'm temp acclimating the corals now and then in to the Bayer they will go. I personally double rinse them. Here's a good read on the process:

Do you put the coral in new saltwater then put Bauer in or do you just use the saltwater in the bag? If I multiply by 3 would that be fine?

Also when do you water acclimate? Before the Bayer or after

I personally do it before. I then use tank water to do the dip and two-stage rinsing. So in theory it stays at least close to the tank temperature through the whole process, less the amount the water cools off during dipping and rinsing obviously.

I know some say to use new saltwater but I never understood why and have just always used tank water, then replenish the tank with the new water. Kind of like a mini water change...lol.
