That's awesome! He is so friendly and i have been looking at ways to shave his teeth down, I tried a file and it didn't work so I didn't think anything would work.

You will need to sedate him first using MS-222: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2010/11/fish

Or if you have an aquatic veterinarian in your area, they will sometimes do the whole thing for you.

IF you Fallow your DT you have to keep it very steady to work. monitor it like a hawk If you have any automation like ATO than that will help keep water at proper salinity once set.

I would use UV If you want to keep everything just like it is.

Also The new life spectrum ICK shield food works great too. works from inside out just don't let the food sit on your corals.

Thanks! I called them, and they have one coming into town in 2 weeks. What should i do in the meantime about the QT?

Do you have a QT#2 to treat the puffer in?

What would be ideal is if the aquatic vet could write you a Rx for, or supply you with, Chloroquine phosphate to treat him.

Here is my setup:

I have my DT, my sump, and My 20 gallon QT tank. The 20 QT already has a cowfish, a filefish, and a blenny from an order I got in 2 days ago. I just picked up a 40-gallon tank (36x16x16) that I'm going to put the rest of the fish in while I let the DT go fallow. What should I do with the puffer?

You could easily QT him in just a 10 gal. Hopefully the aquatic vet will supply you with some CP. If not, a puffer would handle hypo very well.

What's the deal with his eye?? Or is that just a trick of the camera?
