What should I do with my bta

I know this is a subjective, but I am struggling to decide what I want to do with my tank. My original plan was an spa dominate tank, but coming back into the hobby I have realized I am a bit of a lazy reefer. I added some bta on one island, euphyllias on another, and zoas on a third, an acan lord, and a sun coral on the sand bed. Unfortunately one of the bta walked to the uphyllia island and now I am unsure what to do. I am thinking I have 3 options, leave it like it is, remove the bta, or remove the euphyllias and let the bta take over the 2nd island as well and hope they don’t move to the zoa island too. I think I am leaning at trying to remove the bta, but I really like the them, and kind of dreading trying to remove them, but I also want to have some variety of different coral What would you people do?

Some pictures for reference, and I am working on the Cyanobacteria, my nitrates hit zero and am trying to get them up.

It’s always difficult deciding which to give up, the corals or the BTA’s. I’ve had only one tank with a well behaved BTA. It never split and it never moved. Unfortunately that is not the norm.

If it were me, I would agree with you and lean towards removing the one on the Euphyllia island. Then I would hope that another doesn’t split or move again. You may have to do the same thing again in the future, though.

Thanks, yeah it kind of sucks. Why can’t everything just get along? There are already 5 on the island that I was hoping the bta would stay on, if I keep them I am sure it is just a matter of time before they split again. Going to do some research on how to best remove the bta, but still not sure what I want to do.

I would see if maybe your local reef store would take one maybe for a credit towards something .
