So my DT is 90gal and Sump is 34gal, 125 gal total water volume. What size RO and Saltwater tanks does everyone recommend? I was thinking of 35gal Norwesco’s but it seems like a lot of people are using 55gal tanks. Any recommendations are much appreciated!

I have a 75g tank, about 100g total. I use two 32g Brute trash cans for my mixing containers. The 35g containers woukd probably be sufficient... hard to think you would need to do a bigger water change than that.

If same price, go bigger, lol.

I use 44 gallon Carlisle cans (same as Brute). If you’ve got the room then go bigger. My tank is 120 with a 40 breeder sump.

Figure out your salt mixing scheme and then buy for that. I like to use IO 50g bags, which only mix to 44g gallons, so I use 55s because it will hold 44 gallons. Fresh is easier and I usually want as much as I can get. I use brutes, Mag Drive pumps and hoses currently, but just ordered some 55g square tanks and a few Pan World pumps for a station.
