What size powerheads

I have a 150g 72x18x29 and need to get new powerful powerheads. I’ve been looking at the hydor 3g. Would I need 2 of the 1950gph or 2450gph to get enough flow? And would you recommend a controller or have both on constantly?

Either should work if you can vary the speed. Yes, a controller is a must.
